VOICE 2008 - the first day!

I missed the networking happy hour they had last night, but today is a fresh start. I registered and went to the first session. It was supposed to be Susan Berkeley "Why there's never been a better time to be a voice over talent". Susan had a death in the family (my condolences) and couldn't make it. So Exec Producers of the conference, James R Albruger and Penny Abshire, (voiceacting.com) took up the slack. They struck me as genuinely very nice people and set the tone of the conference as a non-competitive and all inclusive learning experience. "The universe is abundant" they said. Kool. I can hang with that.
